As an online marketer you perhaps want your links to be short and look professional and you want your brand to stand out. How’s that possible when you’re spending your whole day pushing links from 10 different url shorteners who’s URLs do nothing for your brand … trying to remember where you put them, what pages they redirect to, where or if you can track stats for these links? Some will admit: it’s a nightmare. Not to mention that once you turn control of your links over to a 3rd party redirection service (like tinyurl, bit.ly or tr.im) you can be straight up handing over your SEO mojo to them. More recently, people even have become more and more skeptical of these links because they have no idea what to expect when they click them.
If you are constantly posting all kinds of stuff to Twitter, Facebook, other websites than keeping your affiliate links in order is must. As a blogger it took me a while to search for a solution that would not kill my WP (some of the plugins actually did) and at last I came across an amazing add-on that solved all my problems with links: The Pretty Link Pro WordPress plugin.
